Overall, I had a good first-time experience. Everyone is friendly, and the front desk is very professional and nice. The place is clean. I was shocked that teeth cleaning only took 25 minutes, and the cleaning was not as thorough as I had experienced before. I could see the residual stains inside. There is no pre-post comparison as well. I used to have regular teeth cleaning at the university's dental school, which usually took at least 1 hour to thoroughly clean. As I am a new patient in the Massachusetts area and have asked about my friends here, the average time seems around 0.5 hours in the post-COVID phase (but about 1 hour in the pre-COVID). My hygienist is not the professional who is highly recommended here. I hope that the random assignment of my hygienist is not because of the busy schedules of others. There were no explanations of the steps that seemed common in others’ reviews. Maybe I am just not familiar with preventive care in this area. Just some suggestions: general advice should not be limited to brushing; advice on food uptake within 24 to 48 hours should be provided, such as avoiding sparkling water or coffee. I might try one more appointment to test the water, but will request to change my hygienist.
